We write and publish Te Reo Singalong books. We started the company in 2012 and since then we have sold around 50,000 Te Reo Singalong books into early childhood centres and schools throughout New Zealand. We currently have 13 titles available, with two more planned for 2017. We also perform our books in a Te Reo Singalong show for children and present Te Reo Pronunciation workshops for teachers. We won the Print category at the Māori Language Awards in 2013. We also won two awards at the CLNZ Educational Publishing Awards in 2015 – the judges choice award for Best Resource in Te Reo Māori and the Teachers’ Choice award for Best Resource in Te Reo Māori.
EduMaxi is a New Zealand owned independent publisher as well as an education consultancy that specializes in the planning and development of innovative learning and development solutions.
Our multi-award winning Te Reo Singalong series (http://www.tereosingalong.co.nz) currently has 25 titles available as well as an online school subscription model (http://www.tereosingalong.online) and all books in interactive digital format.
We also provide supplementary curriculum and teacher support materials to teachers in NZ and internationally through User Friendly Resources https://www.userfriendlyresources.co.nz/. Most resources are blackline masters and come with a photocopiable license.
We design, develop and distribute effective resources that are engaging, relevant, and culturally appropriate for varied audiences. Using our knowledge of best practice teaching and learning, we also evaluate existing learning resources and provide support to improve them.
